KAHE community in collaboration with Bikon Blewut Museum and the STFK Ledalero Student Senate were involved in the Docking of the Jogja XVI Equator #6 Biennale Program to organize an art exhibition entitled Re-Imagine Bikon Blewut (R-IBB).
Re-Imagine Bikon Blewut displays the collections and archives of the Bikon Blewut museum in dialogue with the historical archives of the Church in Flores. R-IBB brings a vision of reflection and dissemination of knowledge about the Bikon Blewut Museum and all the knowledge production that takes place in it, as well as wanting to open up horizons for reading and interpreting the history of colonialism and modernism in Flores.
In its implementation, R-IBB presents art exhibition tours and literacy, seminars, film screenings, discussions, talks about the creative process, and various art performances.
This activity was also funded by the International Relief Fund for Organizations in Culture and Education 2021 by the German Federal Foreign Office, the Goethe-Institute and other partners: www.goethe.de/relieffund.
