Various types of Mobile Banks, Bank Emok, Pinjol, until now there is a Mother Bank formed by Badan Kajian Pertanahan, are part of the daily life of Kampung residents in Jatiwangi. Dig a hole to cover a hole, is an appropriate phrase that can describe the lending and borrowing activities of residents, most of whom are day laborers. The conditions for borrowing from these banks are relatively easy, becoming a genius solution for the pressing needs of daily life. For example, Bi Anah, a member of Mother Bank, borrowed money so she could immediately pay administrative fees to brokers, so that her son could work in a bakery near his village.
Badan Kajian Pertanahan with Kyai Imam Nakha’i, Commissioner of Komnas Perempuan, held a recitation to jointly review banking practices in general, which currently vary widely in Indonesia, and specifically Mother Bank, in the presence of Islamic jurisprudence. The perspective of justice (for the environment, women, families, etc.) is a matter to be considered in understanding all lending and borrowing activities.
This recitation was held directly and in a limited manner with the mothers of Mother Bank members with health protocols. However, this recitation can also be followed through the zoom platform.
